I am developing my photography skills (I'd like to call it skill and not just luck) as I am working on this blog. It's meant to go along with my coverage of communities and events in the local newspaper.
I have previously used a Sony Cybershot circa 2006, and recently upgraded to a Canon Rebel.
I hope people can enjoy this blog as a chance to follow my activities and the activities of the communities I cover.
I post photos, some new, some old, some just for the fun of it.
This is yet another photo of my wheat shoot a week or so ago. I hesitated to post this one because it reminded me of other wheat shots we've had in our paper by other photographers. But with a lack of photo opportunities this week, I felt guilty not posting anything for a few days.
I did adjust the color on this one - increasing the black level to make the wheat more silhouetted. I do like the way the sun shone over one of the wheat stalks.
Samantha, I am doing a short and sweet post on my blog about your fern photo and my painting for your wedding. I would like to post a link to your blog from my artsy crafty blog if that is okay. Still planning to paint your blue sky and birds photo!
I'm trying to help feed the evidently huge appetite out there for thrifty, creative craft blogs. There are thousands! Unlike other blog arenas, this one is very very active. And, it drives traffic to my Etsy shop. So, win win?
Beautiful pic! Love the lens flare, very cool. This is a painting waiting to happen.
